How do I get off of depo shot?

I’m trying to get off the shot bc I’m trying to lose weight and I’m struggling to the get weight off I’ve gained while on depo. My next shot is coming up this week so do just not go?

Tell your doctor you want to switch BC options. Then ask for another form of BC.

Agree with previous comment- if you want to stay protected, ask about the pill or and IuD at the appointment instead of just not going. You can always say no to the shot but it would be wise to make sure you are on something if you aren't ready to be pregnant :)
