Would you go on vacation without your spouse ? (No kids yet)

I would love to go on a cruise with my family but my husband doesn’t accumulate PTO as fast as I do. I have plenty of PTO but he’s not sure he could get it off. He says yes go because we moved out of state and we don’t get to see our families much at all. He wants me to go so i can spend time with them. Part of me says yee haw and the other half says is he just saying this to make me happy.
