I have a son whose a little over a year old and a newborn. By me being a busy mom his hair doesn’t get combed as regularly as it should so it tends to matt up. However when I wash and condition it his curls always come back to life. So my mom has been jokingly saying she was going to put a texturizer in it but I never took her seriously and told her time and time again no he’s too young. Yesterday while feeding my newborn I hear my son screaming upon walking in the kitchen she was finishing up washing his hair. I asked her what was going on and she said “his mad he’s getting his hair washed”. Last night I noticed his hair had no curl pattern was also dull and thinner but I thought nothing of it I just figured it was the products she used. This morning I took it upon myself to rewash his hair because it was so dry and still it wouldn’t curl. After fighting with my sons hair for about thirty minutes we go into the kitchen and there was the evidence she left. She had the conditioner that came with the texturizer on the cabinet.!! I’m PISSED!!! So I call and she tells me it’s going to grow out. Which ik is completely false because I’ve been getting that same kids texturizer on and off since the age of 13 and I’m 21 now. Am I being dramatic or do I have every right to be mad? My son literally looks like al sharpton by the head, I’m so mad I could cry.
