Just curious... how many of you actually wipe down your baby/toddlers toys?

I know my baby is going to need germs to build his immune system so I’m not too worried about wiping down or cleaning his toys too often. 
I probably won’t even bother with plastic toys unless theres visible mess on them and I will steer clear of cloth toys. His playmat I’ll be washing often because it gets gross sooner.

Floors get swept/mopped/vaccumed twice a day
Playmat gets washed every other day
Soft toys get washed in the washer once a week and hard toys get wiped down/ soaked once a week 
Immune systems need germs to help build them up, but I also like having a clean home.

Building that immune system! I’ll clean toys that were just bought from the store, but stuff at home I don’t bother unless they actually get dirty. My 16-month-old has never had a cold. The only time he was actually sick was from roseola a couple weeks ago that he probably picked up at the store or the library book group.

Only when i cant remember the last time ive  done it or  one of them has been sick lol

If other kids come
Over and play w them then I will wipe them down. If it’s just my own then no I don’t wipe them down.

- Disinfect once when we first get them
- Wash bedding once a week
- Lysol spray the room and play areas every other day 
- Disinfect/wash when something unusual has happened like he’s been dragging a toy around the floor all day, or I saw him put it in his mouth a few times.

I don’t do it once a week but if the fall on the ground they get cleaned. Or anything like that.
