Nipple piercings and breastfeeding?

This is a post for mommies with nipple piercings! 
I've wanted my nipples pierced for a long time, but I've been scared to do it because I'm afraid of it affecting my ability to breastfeed when I decide to have children in the future. Have any mommies in the group had their nipples pierced? Did it affect or inhibit breastfeeding at all?

had mine pierced for years. had to take them out a few months before giving birth in order for the holes to close so that I could breastfeed. no complications and im srill breastfeeding (kiddo is 14months).

I had mine pierced for over 10 years. 
I EBF before the piercing & after I took them out im EBF my 17 month old still. It doesn't affect anything at all.

I’m not a mommy but my cousin is and she has her nipples pierced! I had asked her about it for if  the future should i take mine out or not. She leaves her in sometimes but sometimes she’ll just take them out and the put them back 😂 she just says that sometimes they get super sensitive but other than that she leaves them in no problem!

It’s a hassle, I just took mines off after 5 years of having them. Not worth it tbh.
