Help I'm not sure what's happening to me

I had a crazy period. So im not actually trying to concieve. I had <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">fertility treatment</a> 3 years ago and had twin girls. I have tubal problems. I had the left one removed after an ectopic pregnancy.

So I'm 35 yrs old and I usually have a 28-32 day cycle. Last period was on the 23 December. I bleed for 5 days. Always dark brown to red to dark brown. Painful lots of clots. (Sorry tmi)

So this month since cycle day 24 I've had some very faint brown spotting for about a week, barely noticeable on wiping. ( I thought this was because me and OH DTD and I had bad cramps, we stopped and a few days later I started this spotting) fast forward to cycle day 37 I had back ache sore boobs headache mood swings full heavy uterus, I was sure I was coming on. I got up this morning to bright red blood when I wiped, not a lot about the size of a sheet of tissue paper, I put in a sanitary towel and have discovered that it has completely stopped. I still have a headache and heavy uterus and some slight right sided discomfort. Im now on cycle day 38. Is this my period or something else. Has this happened to anyone else.
