Low lying placenta and sex/bleeding

☮SC☮

Hello!

I have a low lying/anterior placenta (and rhesus disease), I don't think it's completely covered my cervix, just partly or its close to it - the tech was having trouble seeing it clearly.

She said that hopefully it'll move up as I grow and never mentioned anything about sex.

After doing some googling though it looks like you're often told not to have sex if it's covering it completely.

Anyway my main concern is that having sex could cause bleeding/spotting and I have a different blood type to my baby. I'll probably talk to my midwife at some point but has anyone been told not to have sex or actually bled from having sex?
