I'm not a nanny but we have stayed other places and had my daughter sleep in the pack and play. We always try to make it as dark as possible. We bring her sound machine. And we've created a nap time routine. It take about 5 minutes but now she knows that it's time to sleep after. We so diaper, sleep sack, then she gets her bunny, 1 book, 1 song, sound machine, lights out and in bed. It's really helped. We've always used a sheet from home but you could try putting putting something under the sheet that smell like home or you.
16 month son WILL NOT take naps anywhere but his own bedroom.
I am a nanny to a one year old... and it'd be so easy if I could just set him down to nap at their house but nope. screams his lungs out. what should i do to transition
