What was your first period after MC like?

I miscarried on Dec. 7th, 2017 at 6w3d. I got positive OPKs for the first time after miscarrying on January 14-16th. And bbt confirmed I ovulated on the 16th. I just got my first period after my miscarriage a little over 7 weeks later. TMI maybe, but it’s so heavy. Almost worse than I remember my miscarriage bleeding was. I’m sure my period will go back to normal in a few cycles. Maybe it’s heavy because it took 7 weeks to get. Maybe just looking for some similar experiences? 😁 or just a happy comment to know i am not alone in feeling a little down lately ❤️ thank you ladies!

I had a D&C; on 10/20 and started bleeding on 11/24. It was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. I had the worst stomach pains  that started 3 days before and I thought it was just tummy troubles (gas or just upset). Turned out to be period cramps....they were different than my normal ones and I felt this sensation that I can only describe as fullness inside my abdomen which is probably why I thought it was upset stomach. While I was at work on 11/24, I felt this gush and I just exploded. Everywhere. Had to go home. It was a bloodbath. It was like 3 days worth of blood just came out all at once. Strangest thing I’ve ever been through. The one after that was a little more normal but still off and the last one I had was totally normal. We are currently TTC and AF is due next Monday. Fingers crossed for my BFP. Good luck and baby dust!!!

I had a mmc in Dec and got my period back 4 weeks later. It was the heaviest period ever!!! I usually would last 5 days with the 2nd day being the heaviest and the rest just real light. Not this one! It lasted 7 days super heavy with big clots! Finally it died down but I’m still having brown spotting.

I had a MC on October 10th. My next period came on November 9th and was super heavy and cramps compared to my previous cycles (which usually took place on the 24th). Ever since the first period after the MC, my period continues to come around the 9th but only last about 3 days and only has one day of bleeding while other days are mainly light and spotty.
