brown discharge??

I’m almost 2 weeks late for my period, but my periods are sometimes irregular since I just started it about 3 years ago. I lost my virginity over a week ago and there was some spotting but it disappeared after a few days. When I was having sex a couple days ago i started bleeding a lot and I assumed it was my period, but it’s been 2 days and the only thing coming out is like light brown discharge. I already took a pregnancy test so I know I’m not pregnant, but is the brown discharge my period or is it something else?
