Is it technically cheating to have an app that’s typically used for hookups/dating (it’s not Tinder or anything) on my phone to make new friends? If he doesn’t know i have it? It’s not an actual dating app

If your partner had the same app and didn’t tell you about it/tried to hide it, how would you feel?

If you aren’t trying to find anyone on it it’s technically not cheating. But Ik Id feel hurt if my SO had a dating app on her cell. Even if I knew she only used it to make friends my mind would tell me otherwise since the app is made for dating and hookups.
It’d be best to find an app that isn’t a dating/hook up app to make friends online.
