When to announce pregnancy

My daughter passed away August 7th at 39 weeks. I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant. I’m really trying to be happy and excited for my new pregnancy but the thought of losing another baby kills me. My boyfriend and I told our parents but no one else. If you experienced a stillbirth, when did you announce your next pregnancy?

We lost our last daughter at 30 days old during her NICU stay, she was born premature at 27 weeks. We're now 34 weeks with our rainbow baby and the only people that know besides our parents and siblings are my co-workers and boss since they obviously see me and can tell. We have some rude family and we didn't care to hear anyone's negative comments or judgements on getting pregnant so soon after our loss.

I had a 38 week loss.  I told just a couple close family members at 8 weeks, so they could be my support.  After 12 weeks we did tell more people, but have never fully “announced” this pregnancy...I won’t feel “out of the woods” until she’s here.

I lost my son at 20 weeks. He was technically stillborn although not full term like yours. I’m so sorry for your terrible loss. I got pregnant with my rainbow baby about six months later. We announced to our parents at about 4-5 weeks just like the first time. We’re very close to our families and we would need their support if something happened. We announced to other close extended family at about 7 weeks and on social media/ to everyone else at about 11 weeks.
Just announce whenever you feel ready. There’s no right or wrong time. Just whenever feels right to you.

My baby girl was stillborn 12th July last year at 41 weeks And I’m 7 weeks pregnant I plan to tell close family after my confidence scan at 8 weeks which is next week as for me there is no safe time to announce and the more support we have the better it will be.

I just feel like no one understands how I’m feeling even when I say my exact feelings. They just think “I’ll get over it” and “everything happens for a reason” blah blah blah. I honestly don’t want to tell anyone else even extended family. They stressed me my last pregnancy and I don’t want it to happen again.

I had a loss at 18wk where I told everyone at 6wk I was pregnant then I was going to find out the gender. the day I found out I lost her was gender day so everyone was watching as I was all over my FB. it was heart breaking for us then to have to share something so personal made it worse. ever since then I don't announce till after I have past that mark. My rainbow I announce at 22wk. he's sister at our wedding at 20wk
