how old is too old?

I always worry that my time is running out. I'm 28 and have been wanting kids since I was about 24. we haven't truly tried with opks and temps and such I just monitor my cm and when glow says I'm in my fertile window. it just hasn't happened yet. I've only ever been with my husband as I saved myself for marriage. 
how old is too old to ttc? help me feel like I have hope!

I’ll be 39 in March and just got my positive last week with baby 1. We only tried for a month. There’s no such thing as too old unless you are like 60. I feel like the timing is perfect for me. I just got married in July and I’m ready.

Of course everybody's different. Infertility/miscarriage can affect people of all ages-but age isn't the only one factor if these things happen. Most likely you'll conceive within a few months of trying. And if you don't (in a year) your doctor can have tests done to find a solution. 
36 now, but when I turned 30, I asked my gyno (who'd been delivering babies for nearly 3 decades) how much time I had left to have healthy children. She rolled her eyes and seriously told me "17 years"!  Every time I start feeling old, I think of that conversation. 
For the record, my grandma had my uncle at 46 years old. At 35, I got pregnant on our first try. You never know!

My Doctor told me last year he had just delivered a first baby for someone who was 42! I was worried as well because we didn’t decide to start trying until I was 36. 37 now, still at it. You aren’t too old no matter if your brain tries to convince you that you are.
