Self esteem

I put on weight a few years ago due to medication I was on. I have been unable to get rid of any of it. It has me feeling depressed. I feel like regardless of whether I loose it, I still need to learn how to be comfortable in my own skin. I'm technically over weight but not by that much. My biggest problem is that I'm not comfortable. At this point I feel like even if I do loose it I may not be comfortable. How can I teach myself to love and embrace MY body?
