Nipples on tattoo?

I’m getting a chubby mermaid tattoo soon (SO EXCITED) and I was wondering everyone’s opinions on exposed nipples on a tattoo. Personally, I’m all for free the nipple and I HATE clam shell bras, so I’m leaning toward either showing the nipples or simply posing her with her nipples facing away. I’m also working on a novel about mermaids and like it never felt right to me that they would feel the need to cover up.

I’d say it probably depends on where you’re having it and whether you have the option to cover it if you’re in a situation where it may not be so appropriate.

I have a beautiful bare chested woman on the back of my arm with both nips showing (lotus pose) and my bf has a bare chested woman on his arm near his shoulder (snake wrapped around her) but her nips are covered with hair. I personally think mine is better 😉 but it also depends on style? Free the nips!

depends on the style/posing. I'm all for some cute lil' nips but the mermaid hair covering the boobs is also a classic.
