Back pain, hip pain... How do I sleep???

Eva

I’ve always been a side sleeper, and I’ve found it especially enjoyable to sleep this way since my husband bought me a Snoogle. HOWEVER, I’m now getting sharp, stabbing pains in my hip when I sleep on my side. It’s bad enough to wake me up. So I flip over, sleep for 20 minutes, and am then woken up by the same pains in the other side. This is how I spend my night- rotisserie sleeping in between stabbing pains and getting up to pee. What am I doing wrong?

Some notes:

- I can’t sleep on my back because I get lower back pain and the weight of my chest feels like it’s crushing me

- I can’t sleep on my stomach because my boobs and belly get in the way (17 weeks along).
