Who are these women?!

Who are these woman who say “ I was ttc for 2/3/4/5 years and then I stopped thinking about it and I got my bfp” !!! How do I stop think of about it? Your brain lives in two week waits! No idea how to get out of that cycle and “let it be”!! Please help a sister out

Sadly I’ve psyched myself to believe it just won’t happen for me... I will have to hold my child in my arms to believe it lol we’ve been trying for 5 years, 2 known miscarriages.. I just don’t care anymore.. I’m car shopping and house hunting right now, we wouldn’t be able to do either with a kid 🙊 i know that’s a bad way to look at it, but my husband and I have talked about not being able to have kids and we’ve both come to terms with it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We went through a period of time that we stopped trying. We were traveling every month and had family here for the holidays, so I just stopped really tracking and we just had sex when we felt like it. For me, we only get pregnant when we are tracking and actively trying. I don’t buy into the whole “stop trying and you’ll get pregnant” thing. It doesn’t work that way for everyone. We’ve only be able to conceive after months and years of actively trying.

I went through this but still never got my bfp. After 2-3 years of trying I got fed up and gave up, we had sex and just enjoyed ourselves. I didn’t track anything and he could always tell me when my period was about to start so I would look up what day to expect it (always within a few days of him saying something) and i knew to look for it. It’s been 8 years now since we first started trying and we are back to actively trying. For me it was just a matter of getting fed up, but it still never happened.

it wasn't so much not thinking about it but we gave up hope. we relaxed our mind in terms of well it's not gonna happen. I started focusing on other things and the child we already had. then out of the blue, baby boy came to be.
