Am I the only one?
I’m currently in high school and I some friends. I recently came to the realization that I’m the backup friend. I’m never anyone’s number one choice to hangout with. That really hurts the self esteem and I often find myself alone at lunch even if I started out sitting with someone. It makes me feel like no one will ever need me or want to be with me(not in a romantic or sexual way). I just feel so alone.
