Makena Success?

My last pregnancy, I gave birth at 32&3. So now that I’m pregnant again, my doctor has made plans that I will be taking Makena injections weekly. Has anyone on here taken them and had success? Has anyone been put on the shot and had it not work? Any side effects I should be aware of? What can I do to make sure I don’t go into preterm labor?

I’m a fairly active person, I work out at least 3 times a week and I’m on my feet a lot. I was told that I will have to limit my activity to make sure I make it to term (I’m also currently at risk for miscarriage). Has anyone been able to do yoga or maybe even walking and still make it to term? I’m worried because this is my third pregnancy, I’ll blow up like a balloon.
