do I tell him?

so, there's a guy I've liked for awhile now. he and I are friends, we talk about deep stuff and get along well. I think he's so sweet, and cute but that doesn't matter so much. my friends say we would make a cute couple and urge me to tell him how I feel, but the problem is he likes another girl. shes prettier than i am and they get along well. I enjoy being his friend so I don't quite mind if he doesn't return my feelings, but I'm scared that he won't want to be friends anymore. What do I do?
