Could I be pregnant ?

I have never tried getting pregnant on purpose before. My first two sons were surprise blessings. In November, we had an ectopic pregnancy and my fallopian tube had to be removed. So this month we have started to try and get pregnant. My period was due to start Friday so I tested yesterday morning and it was negative. I started very light spotting today. Is there any possibility that it is only implantation bleeding? Or is it my period coming early? Should I test again? UPDATE: so have been spotting for 4 days, not normal for me. I took another test yesterday, and it was negative again 😣...... anybody had this happen before?
