Will you be taking maternity pictures? I’m not big on them

I promise it’s something you’ll never regret. It’s a beautiful memory to have. If you don’t do maternity at least do newborn. And have your SO snap some cute pics of you with your belly before baby comes..just so later you can be like “this is what mommy looked like at when she was pregnant with you”

I haven’t decided yet...I didn’t want to do engagement photos, but I’m so glad we did. If you do these things the “right” way, they become special instead of just replicating something that someone else did. 
When I thought about my engagement photos as a time capsule to show what our life is like in that moment, it became such a beautiful thing. We did our shoot around our neighborhood - by the diner we walk to and eat at, the neighborhood pizzeria that we walk to, in our apartment and on the streets we walk the dogs down. It will be nice to look back on the photos and see how the neighborhood’s changed 10,20,30,40 years from now...
I would try to think of maternity photos the same way. I’m a photographer, so I take a LOT of photos. My husband on the other hand...not so much. So there are NEVER photos of me when we go on trips, etc. I think it would be nice to have some beautiful photos from this moment in time. But I’m torn because I really don’t like most of the maternity shoots I see. But I also didn’t like other peoples engagement photos lol

I want to but babies are expensive lol. Def not gonna pay someone to do pictures when me and my husband both have phones with timers and great camera quality 😂

My home done pics are good enough for me lmao I’m not about to pay someone no $300+ to take pictures of me when I can simply put the timer on my camera and BOOM!! The price was $Free.99
