factor V Leiden thrombophilia?

Question

Anyone out there have factor V Leiden thrombophilia? (Factor 5) I just found out this is what I may have causing me to have two miscarriages. I am wondering if there is anyone who has factor V Leiden thrombophilia and has a success story to share? Also wondering what the type of medicine they take (pill or home injections). My phone conversation with my doctor said that it could be medicine or just Advil. Just looking for someone who has gone through this to shed some light on this. Thanks.

I do have it. I am on a baby aspirin every day. I have lost 3 babies, pregnant with #4 and 9 weeks. Which me luck, and good luck and prayers to you for a successful pregnancy and happy healthy baby!

I have FVL, only 1 mutated gene. I had a miscarriage than conceived again about 6months later. I never did find out what exactly caused the miscarriage so I can't 100% say that having FVL caused or played a role in it. I was tested during my 2nd pregnancy during routine blood work, the hematologist didn't feel I need any anticogultion therapy during pregnancy because I hadn't had any past issues. my obgyn put me on lovenox injections for 6weeks postpartum, especially after having a c-section. I'm almost 38weeks with #2 and still haven't had any problems or taken any medication especially since aspirin is frowned upon during pregnancy. I'll likely get injections while admitted to the hospital since I'm having another c-section and will be evaluated for further tx if need be

I have Factor 5. I was diagnosed after I formed two blood clots in my lungs when I was on birth control. My doctor suggested taking baby aspirin everyday while we were trying to get pregnant. Now that we are pregnant I am still on daily baby aspirin and am taking daily Lovanox shots.

I hAve it  I have a two year old daughter and am pregnant with my second now. I don't take the shots or aspirin. I only get it from 1 parent so unless I have a clot they won't put me on anything.  Hang in there it doesn't rule out a successful pregnancy

I was diagnosed with some kind of thrombophilia. I don't even remember the exact name. They said 2 clotting factor abnormalities. I've been taking Lovenox injections daily since I found out I was pregnant at home. Will take it until at least 36 weeks and they're making me see high risk for it. I'm 9 + 1 now.

It wouldn't be Advil it would be aspirin. It's probably best if you get the opinion of a hematologist/oncologist.
