After 24 hours of inactive pushing

After 24 hours of inactive pushing. Water broke over time, on 01.29 beginning at 3 or 4 pm the previous day when I had gone to my midwifes fall river office. I was at 2cm. Throughout the night I had contractions. My midwife appt was set for 1045 on 01.30 and so when I was checked, 6cm was what I jumped up to.

I drove myself from Newport office to fall river for Charlton memorial hospital. Admitted right away. From them on I was needing to be further dialated. Turn from side to side. Received epidural, which hurt because I honestly had no idea it was administered in such a way. That helped with all contractions... that is until I began having those on the backside. Oh My! No fun. It was hard for me to push, I admit it. I wanted to give up. I was alone at the hospital. My son's father and I do not talk, he denies that he can be the father. He's a liar and cheater and I refuse to let him back in my life. Anyhow, after 8pm is when I began havbing to push through contractions. I do not wish those on my worst enemy. Gosh! After awhile the doctor decided to use the vacuum method. Oh My! My son's had was stuck in my vaginal area because I just would not push enough. The nurses were awesome and helped coach me. I cannot thank them enough. That one final push when I didn't feel the pressure any longer I began crying and asking what happened. But there he was, baby boy was born. 1034pm on 30th of January, 2018. I am in love and in awe of such a big handsome guy.
