Too early ??

Question

Is it too early to start buying things for the baby ? I’m 11 weeks today and I just don’t know what it is but I’m just a bit weary of buying anything yet untill I’ve had my scan ! 
I find myself browsing online and putting things in the basket and then removing it all because I think “nahhh it’s too early yet”....... I don’t have my scan or another 2 weeks. 
When do you think is okay to start buying baby stuff ? It’s not as though I think theres anything wrong with the baby as I can’t get my head out of the toilet like 24/7 since I was 6 weeks and I know that’s a healthy sign that baby’s still there !   🤮🤮
I don’t know what it is ! It all just doesn’t seem real yet and this is our 3rd child !

I’d say go ahead and start buying essentials. Diapers, wipes, gender neutral onesies/bodies. Even if, God forbid, something did happen, you could always save it for a future pregnancy or five it away as baby shower gifts to friends and family. You’ll have your scan soon and not long after that you’ll find out the gender and you can go crazy shopping!

I feel the same way and it’s my third too. I want to wait until we find out the gender so I’m able to buy more but I’ve started trying to catch deals on diapers and wipes 😊. Go for it don’t be afraid!

When i was pregnant with my first, i started buying things when I was 5 weeks lol! The way i see it is, every life is worth celebrating, and some of us just cant hold in our excitement and thats ok!

This is my 3rd pregnancy so I won’t be running to the shops to buy baby essentials any time soon. 
My youngest is 2y3m and tbh I didn’t have to buy much for him either as I still had EVERYTHING from his older sister. 
I will probably start buying the essentials when I figure out where this baby’s clothes and things are actually going to go. 😂
I wouldn’t say it’s bad luck before 12 weeks but I just wouldn’t want items laying around the house for that long, they’d get in my way. 
If you want to buy items then go for it! I would definitely stock up on a couple of packs of nappies a month just so you have some - not too many though as you don’t know how big baby will be and may grow out of them before they’re all used. 
As for baby wipes. Stock up big time when they’re on offer! I do this anyway as my little one is still in nappies, so this will be no different for me, but trust me - you can NEVER have too many packets of baby wipes. 😂😂

Thank everyone ! I feel like I’m not he only one now ! ..... I’m going to start with small bits like nappies and wipes first I think (just to get the husband to realise child number 3 is actually on the way 🙄😂) and go from their xx
