How long did you wait before you took your baby out in public?

We took our baby to her doctor’s appointments right after she was born, but she hasn’t been inside store or anything. I’m too worried about the flu! 😷😷 my baby is 11 weeks.

My baby is 2 months old and she still doesn’t go out, only to my parents house every other weekend. There are a lot of people with the flu around here and I do not want to get it or worse have her get it. Plus it’s still way too cold

We took ours to the mall the same week. But we have a car seat cover so she wasn’t exposed and the mall wasn’t as busy since it was already after New Years, on a weekday.

The day after we came home. Baby had a dr appointment, i needed prescriptions filled, we needed to get his birth certificate finalized, and we needed groceries.

Oh besides the mall for pics at JC penny and a Restuarant besides that he stayed covered in public!

It was at least a month before I took him to the grocery store and church and those are our primary outing places these days. I kept him covered til about 2 wks ago at church and last week uncovered him at the grocery store bc there were no apparent sick people walking around the store that I could notice.

My baby is 12 weeks and has been pretty much everywhere with us... Stores, restaurants, sporting events, etc. She has severe reflux and constipation issues so she has constantly been in many doctors offices and hospitals since she was born, I am way more worried about the germs in those places than anywhere else we take her. She’s always in her car seat or strapped to one of us in a carrier when we are in public places.

They day after we came home we went to his pedi appointment and got Subway after. Went to Target when he was six days old. He’s been out with me and Dad multiple times already and he’s just over two weeks now.

To the store and covered in the stroller, maybe 2-3 weeks.
