Anatomy scan question???

Ladies tmrw I have my anatomy scan I forgotam I suppose to drink water and if so how much???

My doctor made me pee before bc I had had water. Apparently they want a full bladde for NT but not anatomy

I wasn't told anything and had an empty bladder and they saw everything just fine!

The nurse told me to drink 24-32 oz an hour before. I didn't drink anything at all and the ultrasound tech didn't check my cervix and didn't say anything about having an empty bladder. I have a pretty weak bladder to begin with and pregnancy hasn't helped so I was only planning on drinking about 16 but between dealing with a miscommunication on who was going to be watching the baby during the apt I didn't have time and completely forgot to drink anything at all. Oh well!

If you don't have an appointment until later in the day, just call and ask. My doctor didn't give me a set amount to drink. The gender reveal ultrasound they said to just have a full bladder, but I had to empty it so she would turn around. Lol. For my anatomy scan last Friday, they didn't mention any water intake at all, but I made sure my bladder was full. Not to the point where I had to pee right then.

I went straight in for my ultrasound didn't have to have full bladder or drink any certain amount of water etc

Mine is in about a week. They told me to drink 16oz an hour beforehand and not to use the restroom.

Mine has you do a urine sample every time before appointment so I had an empty bladder for the anatomy scan and they were able to see everything just fine!

In my first pregnancy nobody told to drink water before an ultrasound
I have a habit I use restroom before I go to any appointment to feel relax full bladder I can't hold man!

Well, I went when I was 19w 1d pregnant and ultrasound was perfect

I am not sure this time...
I will be schedule soon for this pregnancy in 3  to 4 weeks

1 litre an hour before the appointment then no peeing! 😰 my teeth were practically floating!

I was told to come on a full bladder for my anatomy scan but then the baby was so squirmy that the technitian had me go pee to see if that would help. Can't hurt to go with a full bladder. You can always pee of they need you to :)
