Potty training?

What is the average age of being potty trained? My son is 8 months old and I know it’s no where near time, I would just like him to be potty trained before having another baby. 😊

Usually a year and a half to two years (I work in a child day care and that's the age we recommend parents trying). Usually it's whenever the child starts showing interest in the potty, waking up with dry diapers, and feeling uncomfortable in diapers when they are soiled (trying to pull them off or wanting them changed).

My nephew just turned 2 and they started training him about a month ago. They knew it was time when he pointed to his diaper and said “poopoo” but there was nothing there. He was telling them he had to go

My friend who is a SAHM started at 11 months and by the time he was 14 months he was pretty much trained. It was a lot of work though
