Babies heart rate dropped during nst?

Has anyone ever had this happen?

I went into the hospital and had a stress test done a few weeks ago because I hadn’t felt baby move much that day, and during the time I was monitored his heart rate went anywhere between 120 and 175 bpm. The nurse and doctor both said this was a good thing and they look for fluctuations in the heartbeat because this means the baby is “thriving” (moving around, etc) rather than just “existing” in the womb. I was told it just means a healthy, active baby.

I go weekly for NST and fluctuations are what they are looking for my baby has gone from 169 down to 120 abd back up to the 150s they say he's a healthy active baby!

Happened to me this am too. I've been having weekly NST since my GD diagnosis and we asked the nurse about it today and she said it was perfectly normal.
