Does Glow really help when TTC

So I’ve been tracking my cycles religiously with the Glow app for the past 5 months and “got busy” the days that I was most fertile this month.. so my question is, have you guys been lucky conceiving with the help of this app??

I went off my bc at the end of Nov. I downloaded Glow the same day. Found out we are expecting our first, 5 wks along. I think having the tools for me was helpful bc I knew around the time I was ovulating. I also learned some things about my body that were signs I was ovulating due to the community.

I like the access to the community. I've gotten lots of tips and things. But.... as I've learned to track my symptoms I've also learned the glow almost always guesses my ovulation date wrong. Even when I input clear BBT that show ovulation it doesn't adjust. I have to trick it with a positive OPK.

This app isn't 100% accurate. It's based on math and equations to determine when you will ovulate and your period. The hard part is that the app doesn't account for changes in diet or exercise (which can effect ovulation/periods), sicknesses, stress, hormonal fluctuations when we start or stop birth control, etc. All these things can shorten or lengthen periods and ovulation and can cause the app to be wrong. Just listen to your own body! Use an ovulation test if needed. This app is great for helping us to guess, but isn't always 100%
