postpartum acne? Is this a thing?

my baby is 6 weeks today and my face has been breaking out since day 1! I also have a patch of bumps on my chin that are just red small bumps and my face is so dry right there. I've tried to keep my face clean and moisturized but I just keep getting new blemishes. is this normal??? what do I do?

I had acne after having my baby!! My skin was soooo bad I went to the drs but they explained that it was just all of the hormones with welcoming a baby and it’s apparently worse if you breastfeed too! 
My skin was red and sooo sore to even talk! But after about 9/10 weeks my skin was back to normal! 
It’s awful when it’s happening but it’ll soon be gone 😘

I would say that you are not the only person to experience this! Our bodies go through SO much with the change in hormone levels, it’s hard to tell what is normal and not! I’d definitely have your dr sneak a peak at it the next time your little one has a check up 😊

oh girly! my face was terrible after I had my daughter and I usually don't have issues.I was so upset,bit after my hormones got back to normal (and its NOT perfect),but my skin cleared up.not alone! 💪

It took me almost 3 months after having my twins for my skin to start going back to normal. I had super bad acne that was itchy and painful to touch all up and down my neck and chin and cheeks it was awful. I still have a little now and my twins are almost 4 months now but it is so much better then before.
