first pregnancy and worried about cramps

hello everyone! so im about 5 weeks (guesstimation) and haven't had an ob appt yet, the soonest is feb 14th. I've been having cramps at night that wake me up, not sharp just really achey and when i sleep on my sides...is it that my pain threshold isnt that high? or should i be concerned? i hope this is normal..
