I had my baby boy about 6 months ago, the father is on the birth certificate and he doesn’t do anything for him. He says he’ll help but he doesn’t, he is already in back pay, I just want to be done with him. I have asked him to sign his rights over and he said he would. Does anyone know how this works? Do I need someone to adopt him first? Can he voluntarily just sign? He said yes about two months ago I keep sending him the papers and he doesn’t sign it. Idk why he won’t sign? He says he would then he doesn’t. He just leaves me on read. I don’t want any drama with him or nothing, I barely ask for him for help.
