Don't freak out just yet! Breathe! Miscarriage almost ALWAYS has bad cramping. I had horrible bleeding then bad cramping. If you aren't cramping and you aren't bleeding too heavily then don't worry yourself. Light spotting in early pregnancy is more common than you think.

If you aren't already, be sure to put a panty liner in to monitor the amount of spotting. I'm sorry you are going through this- it's so stressful.

Have you been intimate recently? That can cause a day or two of spotting since your cervix is swollen.

If that doesn't rule it out, this is what I did: I called the doctors office and spoke to the nurse. She told me it can be for many reasons. She also told me they could have me in to run blood for an hcg count, but that being said a miscarriage will happen pretty much regardless at this stage. So I continued to monitor it, had bloodwork done a few days later to find dropping hcg and I did end up miscarrying about two weeks later.

I would just call whoever the on call doctor is at er. Just to make sure you don't need to go in and get checked. *when I  found out ( 4 years ago) was pregnant by doing a test was due to see doctor three days and started bleeding like it was my period. Went to er and they couldn't find anything wrong... called doctor next day and got in but, everything was okay. Doctor told me that some women do bleed for awhile.* Hope this helps... prayers for you!
