When did you do a social media announcement?

Just curious of how many people announce  their pregnancy on social media and when. 
If you waited until baby was born, please comment.

First I had a MC at 8 weeks, second we didn’t announce and now this one we announced around 15 weeks. I was afraid my Mil was going to do it. So was trying to make it a surprise for her friends and family at Christmas. But I’m petty and did it myself

We announced at 20w after our anatomy scan and spina Bifida screen.

Hubby and I decided to wait until the baby is born to announce. Granted family and friends are well aware of my pregnancy.

I have my anatomy scan on the 12th but we haven’t really thought about when or if we will announce on FB. Our families know and some friends but not everyone. We may announce after the scan!

I will be 22w tomorrow and still haven't announced.My pregnancy is very high risk and I homeschool so I don't get out much and not too many know I'm pregnant which is how we want it to be this time around.My last pregnancy we announced around 9w on fb and at 6w with one before that but I miscarried at 8w

My husband and I are both very stingy on our social media friends, only close friends and family. We didn’t send a Christmas card this year, which is odd for us, so we announced with a poem Christmas night. 
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care. Gifts stacked ever neatly, but one wasn't there.
This gift tightly wrapped, is too precious to hold. Although for its size, it's more treasured than gold.
The Browns were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of nurseries danced in their heads. 
For one had that present safely snuggled inside, a new bitty baby set in June to arrive.
