US schedule, slow rising hcg levels

I am 8 1/2 weeks and am getting my second ultrasound on wed. The first ultrasound was at 5 weeks 6 days, we saw the heartbeat and everything looked great! However, my accupuncturist was having me so hcg level tests every week. While the number is in normal range, it was rising slowly. I pray to God my baby is growing healthy, Wednesday can't come sooner.. I just want my mind at ease. Has anyone had these slow rising levels?
