Abnormal NT scan ?!

Hey ladies I had a NT scan with a Result of 3.4 . Doctor said anything over 3 is considered high risk for chromosome abnormalities.. blood work cake back a little high to . He wanted to wait two more weeks in order to do the NIPS test. I’m losing my mind . This is our rainbow baby.. has there been anyone out there that has gone through this and baby came out healthy 😣❤️ . I’m only 21 so I don’t think my age would have anything to do with it .

Hey mama to be! 
I don’t know how this will make you feel or if it will make any difference to you but know you’re not alone. I am 23 years old and now 32 weeks pregnant with my little man and at our 20 week anatomy scan we discovered baby has bilateral cleft lip and palate. We did early genetic testing at about 12 weeks and our odds for chromosome “abnormalities” were slim. With that being said, my husband and I were left to find a surgical team who we felt confidant will provide the best care for baby but cleft lips and palates are sometimes associated with chromosome issues so it was necessary to complete further genetic testing. I won’t lie to you and say what you’re going through is going to be easy and everything will be fine but what I will say to you is that you are a strong mama and when you’re put in these situations consider it a learning opportunity or even a blessing if you will. Take advantage of knowing the possibility is there and look at resources for when baby has arrived and what will help you raise baby or if there are techniques that will better help you! These are our precious little angels and there’s nothing we wouldn’t do for them no matter the outcome 💕 try and stay positive, you got this
