Safe zone ???

Question

When I considered to be the "safe zone" from having a miscarriage? I have been having nightmares of having one and now I'm paranoid every time I go to the bathroom. I try not to worry about it but I think it's just one of those fears most mom-to-bes experience. I am exactly 9 weeks today.

i had that fear for the first 15 weeks and it was totally just mummy anxiety. Especially since this is my first pregnancy!
Definitely try to relax because it's true that 12 weeks is the beginning of the so-called "safe zone," but honestly if you've had an ultrasound and the baby's heartbeat is normal you're actually already in the safe zone. 12 weeks is just a traditional marker because it's the end of the first trimester and people start to show and tell family and friends! 12 weeks your chances drop drastically, which is when most people announce. Unfortunately a miscarriage or still birth can happen anytime but please don’t stress. Trust your in your body’s ability to carry and nourish your little babe. Enjoy your pregnancy and if you every get overwhelmed by that thought just take a deep breathe and try to relax, it’s going to be a great pregnancy! 💕

The risk is lower at 12 weeks but unfortunately there is always a small chance something could happen. There is no true "safe zone." At 9 weeks the odds are still in your favor of having a healthy pregnancy. Try your best not to worry, wishing you a healthy 40 weeks ❤
