So I’m 4 weeks pregnant. I wanted to tell my mother tomorrow night in person and my coworker said to wait. (She is the only person from work who knows - we’ve worked at another place together so we are somewhat close)

I couldnt help but get offended... like her bitch ass knows lol don’t you think if something happened I’d want my actual parents as a support system??

Just rubbed me the wrong way. Is there anything wrong with telling my mother ? I’ll probably wait another 2 weeks to tell my husbands family just in case but regardless close family as my mother and father, his mom and dad, those are people who I’d lean on god forbid.

Thoughts ?

(I should also throw in my mother works at a docs office so i could get blood work and a sneak peak ultrasound also for free)
