Bleeding Every Week?

I've never posted on here before, but I'm concerned. I finished my period last week and two days ago, when my boyfriend and I had sex, he said there was some blood after. I didn't think anything of it until yesterday when I had very heavy period-like bleeding when I woke up. The bleeding wore off a bit throughout the day, but this morning it was very heavy again. What is possibly going on?!
