Sex while on your period?

I've heard numerous people say if you have sex on your period you're more likely to be pregnant. How much of that is true? Or if any of it is true?

Actually there is always less chance of getting pregnant with sex during period days . Typically with a 28 day cycle u will ovulate on day 14 . So that way the sperms are far from meeting the egg. But one might ovulate early and if it's too close to the day you have sex then chances are that it can cause u to get pregnant . Also if you have a irregular cycle then it's hard to predict ovulation day . So better to use a contraception at all times if not planning to get pregnant

Depends on your cycle length if it's longer or shorter, and if you ovulate early or late. I know two women who have ovulated in CD 7-8. And usually they don't ivukate till later on in their cycle.
