Extremely early period

So my usual cycle is about 35 days. I got my period May 9-11. Just barely two weeks later I got it again May 31. I told my cousin and she said maybe it was "syncing" to her's because we've been hanging out basically everyday lately. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?
