Pain during/after sex HELP

So me and my partner been pretty much together for about 10 years, give or take you know how it is, and lately within the last month of two, I've been getting pains like where my ovaries are while having sex, and then for a day or two after it still absolutely kills. I'm just wondering what it could be, I'm booked in to see a specialist for a pelvic exam but that's not for a few weeks 😪 just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could be maybe?
