So my baby is two weeks and hadn’t gotten back to birth weight. Today I was extremely sick and bed ridden so my husband used some formula samples we had to feed baby as baby gets really hungry and honestly I couldn’t move and fell asleep. I know I could have breastfed or pumped but I couldn’t!

Did anyone have an issue like this with a newborn where they had to supplement and still went back to nursing? Let me also say I mostly have to pump because Bf itself isn’t working well enough and after weight loss and jaundice issues I prefer having some “measured milk” after I Bf to ensure he is getting enough! Will appreciate any tips from those who had this issue too! Thanks !
