TMI warning: Going down...?

My hubby RARELY goes down on me. We have ample and satisfying sex, but I wish he would do that more to spice things up. I asked him if there is anything I can do (maintenance wise- waxing, refreshing) to encourage it more, and he said no. He just doesn't like doing it. I pointed out to him that when I go down on him it's not because I like it- I like making him feel good. He feels bad, but still no. I am not going to make him do something he doesn't want to, but it still is disappointing and a little hurtful. It also makes me not want to go down on him anymore. Thoughts or suggestions on compromises?
