How to kiss someone?

So I'm seventeen... and haven't had my first kiss yet. Embarrassing, I know 😅 anyway, there's this boy I've been talking to, and he has given me many signals about wanting to kiss me. And I want to kiss him! But I don't know how! How do I initiate it? How do I "make out" with someone? Please give me any advice you have, from one sister to another!!

My first kiss happened the night of my senior prom and I was 17 too! You’re not weird at all don’t worry :) after it happened, my bf and I just kinda laughed bc it literally felt as weird as two people putting their lips together 😂😂 like you build it up in your head for so long and then it happens and it’s not very exciting 😂 but it gets better!! Practice helps!! And the best is when it’s with someone you really care about, and you can learn together :) best of luck!

unfortunately there’s not really much information i can give you. i was nervous my first time i kissed someone as well and obviously your first time it will feel a little bit foreign. you will be able to feel the vibe and know when you are about to kiss. as for making out it all comes naturally as long as you’re not slobbering all over your partner lol

Just be confident in yourself. I didn’t have my first kiss until I was 16 and I didn’t lose my virginity until I was 21 ( I am literally 22 now). Don’t feel bad for thinking that you took so long. I think that part of kissing is knowing when the time is right. Don’t rush into anything. Kissing seems like it is really hard but it’s really not. Once you start you’ll know what to do. Just follow his lead. Honestly every-time I kiss my boyfriend I get butterflies in my stomach, because kissing is amazing. Don’t overthink anything and just let everything happen naturally.

There’s really not much advice to give about kissing.. it all just comes natural! I know that’s not helpful at all but I used to be so worried about how to kiss too but once I finally did I realized it’s literally just an instinct and if you overthink too much it won’t be good. Just feel the mood and don’t hold back :)
