What to expect at 1st doctors apt...

Hi ladies :) I have my first doctors apt Thursday , can't wait! I will be 6 weeks and 5 days. Just wondering what to expect. I've already confirmed the pregnancy and they have proof of that. This is my first baby so lots of questions! Thanks!

Lots of paperwork, lots of questions about your medical history. Possibly a pelvic exam.

If you get an ultrasound and only see a sac, don't panic. It's normal to only see that when You're that early.

Don't expect too much. They probably won't check for heartbeat or anything. The dr will examine you and ask about previous health issues. It's still exciting though!!

At my first appointment all they had me do was a pregnancy test and a super quick meeting with my doctor so she could tell me my due date and to take prenatals. I did already tell them I had multiple positive tests from different brands. Two weeks later I had my first ultrasound. And in a few weeks I have another appt with my doctor and a nurse for what I think is a checkup/talking about genetic testing.
