37 Week First Pregnancy Progression: Your experience?

Saw my midwife Wednesday (37, 5) and had my first cervical check. 2cm dilated, 70% effaced, and +2 station 😳. This is my first pregnancy and was not expecting that kind of progression this soon. Anyone have any similar experiences during a first pregnancy and how long until you gave birth?
