Perineal massage?

Did anyone often do perineal massages to reduce the risk of tearing? 
I’ve tried to do it but I don’t think I’m doing it often and it’s quite a task 🤔

I never did with my first and I didn’t tear. I have heard it helps with ur first (not with ur second if u already tore with ur first though)
I couldn’t imagine it being easy 😂 good luck though!

Yes and I still tore hole to hole

I didn’t do it, though I looked into doing it LOL I tore a little but that was because my little one came out with his hand right up to his face and tore me on his way out. My midwife said if it wasn’t for that hand I would have been fine
