Stitched too tight?

I'm twelve weeks PP and just recently became sexually active again but it seems like I'm stitched too tightly and at the beginning of intercourse it takes a while of "coaxing" and quite a bit of pain to get things started. My partner and I never had this problem before I had my LO. Lubrication isn't a problem, either. Anyone else experienced this? Will it go back to normal?
